The battle with Arlong is my favorite! One Piece Nami/Arlong. Arlong isn't as superior as he thinks.

Welcome back to DragoNate watches One Piece! I finished the Nami/Arlong arc and watched as the straw hat pirates saved Cocoyashi village, Nami's home town. I loved watching the battle with Arlong and his mermen cohorts. Sanji did a great job fighting Kuroobi, especially since most of the fight was underwater. Hachi, the hexapus, was totally beaten by Zoro and Choo was utterly destroyed by Usopp! I loved that part. Good job Usopp! And of course, Luffy took out Arlong with ease.
I enjoyed the different themes found in this arc of One Piece. We have stuff about dreams & following your dreams, but most importantly to me, I noticed perseverance. Nami's perseverance for 8 years in defending her village people, Cocoyashi's people's perseverance in protecting Nami & of course, Luffy & his crew in their perseverance fighting the mermen while not really in the best shape. I also liked the few smaller things, like Nami's tattoo & the reason Gen had the pinwheel on his head. It's really cool to see the meaning of small things like these & some are pretty obvious once you see it.
