Doctor Who S8 Kill the Moon

From IMDB:

In 2049, The Doctor, Clara, and student Courtney Woods find themselves on the moon. Something is horribly wrong. Now, the fate of the moon lies in the hands of Clara Oswald. Destroy it and yourselves to save Earth, or let it live and risk the ultimate destruction of the Human race?

Clara scolds the Doctor for telling Courtney Woods that she's not special and guilts him into apologizing. Instead of just saying "I'm sorry" he takes Courtney Woods to the moon. Well, they land on a shuttle carrying 100 nuclear bombs, the last nukes from humanity. The moon has gained weight so it has gravity closer to that of Earth - they can walk around on the moon like normal instead of floating. The Doctor, Clara and Courtney accompany the shuttle crew and learn that the moon is causing tons of problems on Earth because of the change in its gravity. Soon they all realize there are spiders on the moon, massive ones. 2 of the crew dies to the spiders and Courtney kills one with a disinfectant spray that kills 99.9% of known germs. Apparently the spiders are massive unicellular lifeforms; bacteria or germs. The Doctor discovers amniotic fluid on the moon as well and dives into it to scan the lifeform. It's a very large creature living and growing inside the moon. The moon is an egg! The moon is hatching which is causing it to break apart. The captain of the shuttle crew now wishes to kill the creature to save Earth and the Doctor protests and explains the horribleness of the choice. Ultimately, the Doctor leaves the decision to Clara, Courtney and this other woman to decide the fate of themselves, the creature and humanity. They ask the Earth for help, humanity votes to kill the creature but Clara decides to take the chance in the end 1 second before detonation. They go down to a beach in the TARDIS to watch the creature hatch and lay another egg and everything turns out completely fine.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

Look! It changed! I'm loving Doctor Who! This is definitely a keeper series. Happy to have you all along for the ride!

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! You won't know which particular, specific, exact episode I'm talking about because again, I'll forget to change this end-of-the-description text for who-knows-how-long! Have fun!

Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!

Oh look, end of video description being updated September 1st 2024 - Been another 4 months or so from the last reaction lol, I went to Europe for 2 weeks, was busy and emotional when I got back and now finally getting back to Doctor Who reactions! No one reads the description but let me know if you do and notice this update in the comments lol.

A person with headphones and a mic, expressing surprise. A large spider, flames, and a full moon in the background. "DOCTOR WHO" text above.
