Doctor Who S8 Listen

When ghosts of past and future crowd into their lives, The Doctor and Clara are thrown into an adventure that takes them to the very end of the universe.
The Doctor meditates, says "LISTEN!" then talks to himself trying to figure out why people talk to themselves, especially when they are alone. What if there is a creature that exists that evolution created to hide? What would it do? LISTEN! Clara Oswald goes on a date with Danny Pink and things go wrong so she ends up leaving angry and going home to find the Doctor in her room complaining about her 3 mirrors. He talks to her about his theory and mentions a dream everyone has all throughout history. People wake in the night, turn the light on, know and say there's no one and nothing there, stand up then a hand grabs their leg. So he links Clara to the TARDIS to go to her childhood where she had that very dream. Except Clara gets distracted and thinks about Danny because the phone rings so they end up in Danny's childhood and find out his name is actually Rupert. He's scared about something under his bed and he had the exact same dream. Clara comforts him and shows him there's nothing under the bed but then something gets ON the bed. The Doctor shows up and tells everyone not to look, the creature leaves and it could've very well been someone Rupert knew playing a trick on him. Clara goes back to her date with Danny to apologize but messes up again by using his real name, Rupert, instead of Danny which bothers him and things go bad again. Back in the TARDIS, she meets Orson Pink from 100 years in her future as a pioneer time traveler who's been stranded at the end of the universe, the last planet, for a long time, scared and alone. Orson seems to be Clara's great great grandson. They stay overnight to see what's in the darkness and things go bad but there were no creatures, just noises. Possibly. Clara flies the TARDIS ending up at the Doctor's childhood where she's the reason he had the "dream" as she hid under his bed and grabbed his leg. They leave and she tells the Doctor not to look where they've been. It's okay to be afraid.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!
