For the last hurrah, The Doctor takes Clara to a space train recreation of the original Orient Express. A 100 year old woman dies suddenly after screaming about a man dressed as a mummy and everyone just says she had a heart attack. Clara talks to the Doctor about how she hated him but doesn't anymore but he only wants to talk about the planets then the granddaughter of the old woman calls him a liar. The Doctor starts investigating but doesn't tell Clara, Clara does exactly the same and gets stuck in a room that the crying woman forced their way into. Somehow the Doctor finds out about "The Foretold" which is a myth about a mummy that can only be seen by the person about to killed by it and they have exactly 66 seconds to live. A chef becomes the second victim while the Doctor finds out that more people on the train know about the Foretold and pretty much everyone is an expert in physics, alien biology, mythology or the like. A 3rd person dies the same way and the Doctor figures out that everyone is there because of a computer named Gus for the purpose of studying the Foretold to figure out what it is, where it came from, and reverse engineer it and what it does. Everyone who sees the Foretold from now on is supposed to give details about what they see so they can hopefully find a way to stop it. The Doctor tells Clara to lie to the woman saying he can save her but he actually finds a way to save her and make the mummy go after him instead and he solves the riddle telling the old mummy soldier they surrender and that he's relieved. Gus the computer says survivors aren't necessary so attempts to kill everyone but the Doctor obviously saves everyone. Clara talks to Danny and then lies to the Doctor saying it was Danny's idea to stop travelling with him because she really does love travelling with the Doctor.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!
