Doctor Who S8 Last Christmas

Doctor Who Last Christmas begins with Clara waking from a noise on her roof. It's Christmas Eve and Santa Claus, 2 elves and his reindeer are delivering presents. Do you believe in Santa Claus? Your life depends on the answer. Everyone's life. The Doctor shows up, tells Clara to get in the TARDIS and insults Santa before heading off to the North Pole where a group of scientists are studying Kantrofarri, dream crabs. They induce a dream state in their victims before feeding on their brains. After some time, they take control of your body just like the headcrabs from Half-Life. Someone mentions the facehuggers from Alien instead though, which are not quite so similar. They all get attacked by the dream crabs but Santa blows up a wall and saves them? They begin questioning things, The Doctor finds out Danny Pink isn't dead and both him and Clara realize they lied to each other. Clara gets attacked by a dream crab and dreams of Danny on Christmas day. The Doctor gets a dream crab on his head to try and wake her up. Success, but everything feels weird and wrong and how did they survive the earlier attack? And why is Santa here? Santa Claus isn't real... They do a Helman-Ziegler test to see if they're dreaming and sure enough they are. Santa is their brain's way of trying to help them because it knows something's wrong. They wake and think it's over but something's still not right, The Doctor misses the obvious. They do another dream test and realize they're still dreaming. Dreams within dreams. It's literally Inception. Dreamception. The dream crabs don't want you to wake up or they die so they layer dreams within dreams to keep you from realizing the truth. One of the scientists dies to their headcrab possessed dream self and the rest try to escape. They imagine Santa Claus coming to save the day and then they all begin to wake up. But Clara and the Doctor are one more dream layer in as he wakes her and she's 62 years older. I'm sad, they're sad, then Santa pops in once more, causing the Doctor to wake up for real this time, he goes to wake Clara again and finally everything's back to normal!

Merry Christmas!

End of description changed entirely from previous videos, it made the description WAY too long, I was hitting my character limits for the describing the show in great detail above (no I'm not using "AI" to write those descriptions, I literally type them out by hand...

Doctor Who Series 8 is basically finished and there's no lack of my enjoyment watching (besides how long editing takes me and the fact I'm often up until 3am or later to finish editing and uploading because I'm a lazy arse who can't edit the video throughout the week instead because I apparently don't have my own life apparently or I just can't manage time well and get distracted easily)

Too much complaining at the end of the description? Good thing no one reads descriptions!

...Right?
