Harriet Jones represents the human race Doctor Who Christmas Invasion reaction.
The Doctor is asleep & regenerating still while the Sykorax invades Earth with blood control. Harriet Jones, who everybody knows including the aliens, has done real well for herself. She's in top positions in the world even in secret organizations that the secret organizations don't even know about. She is read & willing to take responsibility for dire actions. And she proves this by firing upon the Sykorax ship after the left Earth.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before.
