Doctor Who S8 In the Forest of the Night


From IMDB:

One morning in London, and every city and town in the world, the human race wakes up to the most surprising invasion yet: the trees have moved back in. Everywhere, in every land, a forest has grown and taken back the Earth.


Trees completely overtake the entire Earth overnight as a lost little girl runs through the forest looking for the Doctor. Is she Little Red Riding Hood? No, but she hears voices, gets thoughts coming to her, like the one telling her to find the Doctor. The trees are flame proof and this little girl, Maebh, somehow knew about the forest and she knew about a massive solar flare about to hit Earth, strong enough to blow the whole planet away. Not even the Doctor knew about the solar flare and he has an entire TARDIS! Clara and Danny have the class on an overnight school trip so they're lost in the forest with the Doctor who thinks the trees are here to invade Earth. The trees are flame-proof and cannot be burned down. The voices Maebh hears are from "Here", the "life that prevails". Nature. They heard the call of the sun, the solar flare, and sprouted trees to protect the Earth. The Doctor doesn't realize this until much much later, after a whole chat where Clara tells him the human race is saving him this time and that he needs to save the next world because there's nothing he can do to save this one. BS!! All the kids help save the Earth by telling the governments of the world not to harm the trees, that the trees are helping them.

Talk about climate change! :D

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! You won't know which particular, specific, exact episode I'm talking about because again, I'll forget to change this end-of-the-description text for who-knows-how-long! Have fun!

Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!

Oh look, end of video description being updated September 1st 2024 - Been another 4 months or so from the last reaction lol, I went to Europe for 2 weeks, was busy and emotional when I got back and now finally getting back to Doctor Who reactions! No one reads the description but let me know if you do and notice this update in the comments lol.
