Why is it SO SAD?! Doctor Who The Girl in the Fireplace.
The Doctor protects Madame De Pompadour throughout her entire life, which only lasts a few hours for him, Rose & Mickey. In a matter of hours, The Doctor watches Madame De Pompadour live 43 years & keep her safe from these clockwork machines who wanted her brain. He was even going to show her the stars but the last when he left to get the TARDIS ready, she died by the time he got back to her.
Technically, he could just go back again & show her the stars, but he let it become another extremely sad ending instead.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before.
