Doctor Who S8 Into the Dalek


From IMDB:

The Doctor's greatest enemy surrounds a rebel ship. To save everyone, he and Clara must choose to venture into the most dangerous place in the universe. The Doctor is forced to examine his conscience and ask if he is a good man.


The Doctor saves a soldier Journey Blue, 1 second before her ship gets destroyed by the Daleks. Unfortunately her brother died next to her and she begins to threaten The Doctor with a gun and DEMAND he take her back to her mothership. The Doctor makes her ask nicely and he obliges. They thank him but immediately want to kill him until Journey stops her uncle and says he's a Doctor and they have a patient. Their patient is a Dalek that wants to exterminate all Daleks. So he goes back to Earth, grabs Clara and a team get shrunk and go inside the Dalek which The Doctor names Rusty. One of the soldiers hurts it with a grappling hook and Dalek antibodies come after them, killing one soldier, Ross. They continue and come upon a radiation leak inside the Dalek which The Doctor repairs. Immediately upon repairing it, the Dalek is back to its evil self and calls all the other Daleks to the ship to exterminate the humans. The Doctor gets upset saying a good Dalek isn't possible and Journey starts setting charges to destroy it. Until Clara slaps The Doctor and convinces him to #DoBetter. They go back to the memory banks while The Doctor goes eye to eye with Rusty the Dalek. Clara turns back on the memories of the star being born that was so beautiful to the Dalek to make it want to be good and The Doctor links his mind with Rusty's to show him more beauty but instead, the Dalek finds hatred and once again just wants to exterminate all Daleks. This saves the humans but is not considered a victory for The Doctor.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! You won't know which particular, specific, exact episode I'm talking about because again, I'll forget to change this end-of-the-description text for who-knows-how-long! Have fun!

Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!

Oh look, end of video description being updated September 1st 2024 - Been another 4 months or so from the last reaction lol, I went to Europe for 2 weeks, was busy and emotional when I got back and now finally getting back to Doctor Who reactions! No one reads the description but let me know if you do and notice this update in the comments lol.
