Doctor Who S8 Flatline

The TARDIS begins shrinking as something is siphoning power from it. The Doctor gets trapped inside the tiny TARDIS so he hands Clara his sonic screwdriver and psychic paper. Clara Oswald calls herself the Doctor, somewhat as a joke, while she investigates what's stealing power from the TARDIS. She finds out people have been disappearing and there's a mural of them showing their backs. A community service kid named Rigsy is tasked with painting over graffiti, including his own. Rigsy helps Clara investigate the disappearances and says something about the guy still being in the room. There's a pattern on the wall that looks like a desert. They find a cop who's investigating the same and begin helping her when the Doctor says they're in the walls and hands Clara a hammer. Clara starts smashing a wall and the cop takes a call in the other room. She begins screaming as she starts melting into the floor and fully vanishes just as Clara and Rigsy walk in. This time there's a mural of the human nervous system on the wall. The walls begin moving as Danny calls Clara so she lies to him and the Doctor, listening and watching everything from Clara's perspective, realizes she lied to him and Clara realizes now why the Doctor lies so much. The mural of the people who disappeared moves as Clara tries to get the community service workers out and keep them safe. They end up in the train tunnels slowly being picked off one by one by these strange two dimensional creatures that even the TARDIS is confused about. The community service leader is a massive jerk and causes Clara to drop the TARDIS with the Doctor inside on the train tracks and a train is coming. The Doctor does some Adams Family hand moves but has to activate siege mode, using the last bit of power the TARDIS has left, not enough to disable siege mode. Clara is on her own now. Cleverly, she thinks to use the enemy's power against them, tricking them into charging the TARDIS with their powers so the Doctor can banish them back to their dimension, naming them The Boneless.

Doctor Who was suggested for me to watch & react to by a friend. It is another sciencey show that I have never watched before. I enjoyed the first episode, so if this becomes a series, I'll be happy to have you along for the ride! Don't expect this bottom text to change in each video though or at all from this first one :D

Look! It changed! I'm loving Doctor Who! This is definitely a keeper series. Happy to have you all along for the ride!

It changed again! We're on the second season now & this particular episode, specifically, did NOT end in such a sad way! How marvelous! You won't know which particular, specific, exact episode I'm talking about because again, I'll forget to change this end-of-the-description text for who-knows-how-long! Have fun!

Oh look I haven't updated the description since season 2 and now we're on season 7! Lovin' it! Exciting first episode. Been 4 months since season 6 ended...sorry. Computer died, depression, existential crisis, business & new laptop/Windows 11 BS... but here we are!

Oh look, end of video description being updated September 1st 2024 - Been another 4 months or so from the last reaction lol, I went to Europe for 2 weeks, was busy and emotional when I got back and now finally getting back to Doctor Who reactions! No one reads the description but let me know if you do and notice this update in the comments lol.

Clara Oswald with sonic screwdriver and serious expression, dim background. Smiling man wearing glasses with mic. "Doctor Who" text in blue.
